A long time ago, you used to be able to pull off on the side of the road and photograph this impressive waterfall known as Waikane.  Now the road is filled with no parking signs and they've barricaded a lot of the parking spots that were there.  This was shot before all that, when you could still get close to the falls. Sometimes, when it rains heavily here on Maui, these three gentle waterfalls come rushing down as one massive waterfall.  Sometimes it rains so little it's barely a trickle, but when it's just right, it's more than just right.  This is one of the most popular waterfalls on Maui, and for good reason!
