Golden Awakening

Getting up before 3am and getting in the truck to drive out 2 hours to be ready for a sunrise in a rainforest that may or may not be cloud covered and rainy probably doesn't sound super appealing to most people, but for me it gives me the adrenaline boost of a dozen espressos.  And while it's true, the vast majority of sunrises out there don't pan out for me, when they do, it's incredible. As it was the morning I shot this in Hana, Maui on a black sand beach.  Can you think of any better way to start your day?  I can't.
