Harvest at Death Valley

Death Valley in California is an incredible place. Hot as all get out, but amazingly diverse and picturesque as well.  Not to mention vast!  At night the only people that come out are stargazers and photographers and I didn't see that many of either while I was there. This is an old dried lakebed that I shot after the sun went down when the harvest moon was following close behind. Death Valley is a playground for landscape photography during the day, and at night the sheer expanse of the sky above is like very few places on earth.  Despite it's ominous name, Death Valley is a wonderful place to visit and experience.
