Kipahulu Fall

I was out hiking in Kipahulu on a beautiful fall day and the path in front of me had all kinds of fallen leaves from the variety of tropical trees around me. We don't see colors like out in the Northeast or Midwest, in fact we really don't see much color change at all with the exception of the leaves that have already fallen and are on the ground.  Typically the trees themselves keep their leaves most of if not all year long and the color on the leaves only happens after the leaves have fallen.
