Morning Flare

This is a 5 minute photograph taken before the sunrise on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.  When it's so dark outside you never really know what you're in for before sunrise, and the images don't always work out, but this time it turned out great.  The light clouds in the sky made way for the light of the rising sun to light up the sky and reflect on the water. It's a peaceful image taken of Kaohikaipu Island in the first rays of day.
