Morning Glory

Sunrise is the best time of day. A few hours later this beach is swarming with locals and tourists alike, but before dawn it is completely empty. And it is magical.  I remember when I shot this being super excited as I watched the colors in the sky begin to develop from light grays to yellows and oranges and reds and pinks and purples until it just climaxed with the sun peaking over the mountains!  Morning glory indeed on the island of Maui.
