Nectar

One of the most popular waterfalls in Iceland is Skogafoss.  It's perfectly flowing waters and vast width make it a beautiful sight to behold. The contrasting colors of the dark rocks of the waterfall and river surrounded by the ice and snow and flowing water make this an absolute spectacle to behold.  Not all compositions lend themselves to black and white photography, but this one absolutely does. In fact, I think it is more powerful as a black and white monochromatic waterfall than it is in color.  It adds a timeless value to the scene.
