Nomad’s Playground

The textures and colors out in Death Valley are absolutely incredible. These long wandering expanses seem to go on forever and every sunset in the area just exposes the colors even more. Many times there are very few if any clouds in the sky, but when there are, they're often wispy like this and add an almost reflective quality to the landscape below. Death Valley, California is one of those locations that has a little of everything. OK, except water, but if you want colors and textures, they've got that, if you want sand dunes, they're there. If you want dried up lake beds and mountains - you're in luck.  It's a landscape lover's playground and a place I hope to visit much more often!
