The Cauldron
Man, there are some amazing spots on the lava fields of the Big Island. All up and down the coast there are fascinating lava rock formations protruding out to the sea. For this one, I shot a sunset here, then just waited for the sky to erupt an hour or so later. It's hard to sleep in Hawaii because there is so much incredible scenery that even blinking feels wrong.
