Twilight Majesty

The light in Alaska is like nowhere else. Sometimes you get these super crisp days and evenings, other times it's fully cloud covered, and sometimes still you get these wispy kind of days with a little bit of haze.  This was one of those days.  The mountains in the haze at sunset looked like they were almost cut out layers like you would see in an art project or something.  Because of the haze, the entire sunset filled the sky with color, pinks and oranges softly diffusing on the mountains across the straight from where I was. Alaska is such an incredible place.  Not just at sunrise or sunset, but photography up there can be extraordinary all day and all year long. This one was shot in summertime in Alaska.
