I was walking along this trail in Northern Canada in the dead of winter and it was really cold and really still. This was just after sunrise, and this trail was lined with these beautiful snow capped trees as far as I could see. It was really gorgeous. I have this habit of stopping every so often when I'm hiking and looking around. Then I looked up and saw this great sight. It was the best image I got from that entire hike and it reminds me always to not just see what's in front of me but constantly be looking at different angles when I'm shooting. After I shot this, I literally laid on the snow and just took a few minutes to appreciate the giant trees surrounding me. It was magical.
