Windows to the Soul

It gets really hot during the day hiking up into these canyons in the middle of a Utah summer. However, hiking up them at night doesn't even require a headlamp. There are so many stars to light up the landscape it's incredible. I knew when I walked into this huge cavernous area that it would make for a great night shot, and did it ever! I spent hours out here alone in the canyons looking up at the stars and in silent reflection at the vastness of the universe. I mean, how could you not with a view like this?
