Artist notes:

This is one of my favorite abstract shots.  The natural colors of the different types of limu (seaweed) growing on the coral banks of this tidepool provide a stunning foreground to the receding ocean blue.  The tumultuous ocean itself adds great character to the overall look and feel of this piece.
