Yes, the sunsets in Hawaii really are this good!  If you haven’t experienced one, I think you should!  If you have, then you know I’m not making it up.  This piece was photographed on the island of O‘ahu just passed the Ko Olina area. It’s a relatively untouched side of the island.  There’s not too much touristy things to do up passed Ko Olina, so its rare to find anyone other than the locals in the area.  This particular spot was one I had my eye on for a few days before I went down to shoot it.  The tranquility of the scene with the mountains in the background and the sun setting over the ocean gave way to a nicely forming wave on the shore while another crashed on the rocks below.  This is one of my personal favorites from O‘ahu.  I hope you like it too!
