Artist notes:

Some say Hawai’i has no change of seasons.  That’s not exactly true.  Although they may be less noticeable than in many other areas of the world, we still get our seasons.  This shot was taken in the early spring in an area called Kipahulu, Maui.  The colors of the leaves are testament to the fact that we actually do have seasons!
