A few weeks ago I drove out to this location to shoot sunrise. I love being here at that time, but I had to be content just watching the sunrise as I couldn’t get the shot. This was a week or so after I got overtaken by a wave on the West side trying to shoot these tide pools. The camera was behaving intermittently up until this point, but I was going to try to shoot the sunrise out here on the East end. Unfortunately, the camera was DOA and not working at all.
So, after I got the camera back I came out and shot it again. Once again, sunrise wasn’t hitting the way I was hoping it would, but I did manage to find this little gem of a pool and reflection to make me happy! And to be honest, this is a much better image than the one I headed out to shoot!
